Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of the PouchDown mobile app (the “App”), provided by the PouchDown team (“we”, “us”). By downloading, installing, or using the App you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

Who can use PouchDown

PouchDown is intended for adults aged 18 or over. The App relates to nicotine products and is not directed at children. By using the App you confirm that you are at least 18 years old.

What PouchDown is - and isn’t

PouchDown is a tracking and behavior-change companion for users of nicotine pouches, snus, and dip. It helps you log use, see patterns, and ride out cravings.

PouchDown is not medical advice, a medical device, or a cessation treatment. It does not diagnose, treat, or cure nicotine dependence. If you need medical help to quit nicotine, please talk to a healthcare professional. You use the App at your own discretion.

Your account and data

PouchDown does not require an account. Your personal logs are stored locally on your device. You are responsible for backing up the device that holds your logs - if you uninstall the App or reset the device, your logs are removed and we cannot recover them. Subscriptions, trials and pricing

Core tracking, the urge timer, streaks, and basic stats are free. An optional premium plan unlocks full history, advanced charts, and the complete toolkit.

Premium is offered as a weekly or yearly subscription, or a one-time lifetime purchase. Yearly plans may include a free trial; the trial converts to a paid subscription at the end of the trial unless cancelled before then. Prices are shown in the App and may vary by region.

All payments and renewals are processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play) according to their standard subscription terms. You can manage or cancel a subscription at any time in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings. Cancelling stops renewal; access continues until the end of the current billing period.

Refunds

Refunds are handled directly by Apple or Google under their respective refund policies. We are not able to issue refunds for store purchases ourselves. If you believe you were charged in error, please contact the relevant store first; we are happy to help you navigate the process.

Licence to use the App

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use the App on devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial use.

You agree not to reverse-engineer the App, attempt to extract its source code, sublicence or resell it, or use it in any way that breaks applicable law. All rights not expressly granted are reserved by us.

Trademarks

ZYN, VELO, On!, Rogue and other brand names referenced in the App are trademarks of their respective owners. PouchDown is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any of these brands.

Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The App is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event will the PouchDown team be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or revenue, arising out of or in connection with your use of the App. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Changes to the App and these Terms

We may update the App and these Terms as the product evolves. When we change these Terms in a material way, we’ll update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, announce it in the App. Continuing to use the App after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

Termination

You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or end your access to the App or premium features if you breach these Terms or use the App in a way that puts other users, our infrastructure, or the App Store / Google Play policies at risk.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of your country of residence to the extent required by applicable consumer protection rules; otherwise, by the laws applicable where the PouchDown team is established. Mandatory consumer rights in your jurisdiction are unaffected.
